Ready for your next family adventure
2024 marks the introduction of the 14th iteration of Jeep's Grand Cherokee. That kind of staying power in itself says a lot about the model's value. With five trims on offer (Laredo, Limited, Summit, Overland, Altitude), the Grand Cherokee is available with a wide range of options—including rear-wheel or all-wheel drive, plus an array of driver aids and tech features. Though the 2024 model doesn't arrive with much innovation over last year's model, the Grand Cherokee's more-than-capable off-road power and handling help it stand out as a top-end midsized SUV.

5 reasons to buy the 2024 Jeep Grand Cherokee
1. Off-road muscle
The 2024 Jeep Grand Cherokee can be fitted with either 2WD or 4WD. The former comes with either the Laredo or Altitude trims, and the latter on all five available trims. Four-wheel drive also comes in two varieties: the Quadra-Trac I system, or the even more sophisticated Quadra-Trac II (offered on the Limited trim), which is notable for its two-speed transfer technology to help you manage mountainous adventures. You'll also appreciate the adjustable air suspension when you leave the pavement for the dirt.
2. Muscular powertrain
On the 2024 Jeep Grand Cherokee, all trims come with the singular 3.6L 293-horsepower V6 engine. Together with an eight-speed automatic transmission, the SUV's powertrain can handle 257 lb-ft of torque and can tow an estimated 6,200 lbs, when properly equipped.
3. Interior technology
State-of-the-art technology is essential for long-haul adventures. On the 2024 Jeep Grand Cherokee, you'll benefit from the Uconnect® 5 infotainment system, which works with Apple Carplay®, Andriod Auto™, and Bluetooth® connectivity. There are also a dozen USB ports scattered around the vehicle (yes you read that right), and depending on the trim, you'll get either a standard six-speaker sound system, a nine-speaker Alpine® system, or a 19-speaker McIntosh® audio system.
4. Room for the family
The 2024 Jeep Grand Cherokee arrives with the room you expect on a midsize SUV. With two rows and seating for five, backseat passengers will appreciate 38.2 inches of legroom. There's also 37.7 cu-ft of cargo space in the trunk, and a power-operated rear liftgate to facilitate easy loading and unloading.
5. Driver aid solace
On the 2024 Jeep Grand Cherokee, luxury is also practical. Driver aids include automated emergency braking with pedestrian detection, lane-departure warning and lane-keeping assist, blind-spot monitoring, and traction control. Hands-free driving in certain situations is possible on the 2024 Jeep Grand Cherokee, and an intuitively designed center console allows for smooth toggling between the navigation and entertainment interface.
