If you’re after a midsize luxury sedan, the 2017 Lexus ES 350 is an ideal choice. It offers interior comfort and exterior style, along with a smooth V6 engine. The 2017 edition maintains the redesigned look that was introduced in 2016. It also includes improvements in the multimedia infotainment system, such as voice recognition and menu shortcuts for easier navigation. You can also use an onboard app to display turn-by-turn GPS navigation directions from your smartphone.1 Also new for 2017, the Lexus ES 350 includes rain-sensing wipers as a standard feature, along with driver assistance features such as lane departure warnings, adaptive cruise control, and automatic high-beam headlight control.

1. Choose your driving mode 

When you drive the 2017 Lexus ES 350, you get to choose your own adventure—or more accurately, driving mode. Three modes are available: Eco, Normal, and Sport. Each one offers a slightly different accelerator response and adjusts the steering effort. The Sport mode, for example, provides a more solid performance and a sense of increased stability. 

2. Extensive tech and audio options 

You’ll have a wide variety of available media types when you drive the 2017 Lexus ES350.

There are two options for the audio system, including the standard Display Audio touchscreen and the optional Lexus Remote Touch system. If you have the upgraded option, you’ll control it with a joystick similar to a computer mouse. In the 2017 edition, there are new buttons to make it easier to control the audio system. 

3. Opulent, roomy interior 

When you ride in the 2017 Lexus ES 350, it’s obvious that no detail has been overlooked. Seats include contrast stitching, and the high-tech dashboard is contrasted with an analog clock right in the middle. The cabin is also roomy, with plenty of space even for people over six feet tall. Legroom for rear seat occupants is especially generous at 40 inches. 

4. Plenty of storage 

The 2017 Lexus ES 350 may be great for leisurely cruising but it also fits the bill for longer road trips. In the trunk, you’ll find 15.2 cu-ft of space for all your luggage and other items for those trips with friends, kids, or grandkids. There’s also storage available in the console, door panels, and rear seat pockets. 

5. Extra comfy and relaxing 

When you travel in a Lexus, you expect to travel in comfort. And the 2017 Lexus ES 350 provides. Its comfortable seats come in either standard leatherette upholstery or upgraded genuine leather. Front seats include 10-way power adjustments to get the exact angles that are most comfortable for you. There are also options for heated and ventilated front seats, a power tilt-and-telescoping steering wheel, and memory settings for the seats.
