2014 Lexus LS 460 review

1. Big-time luxury

It also has all the comfort features you crave, such as a standard sound-deadening windshield, power door closers, wood trim, aluminum accents, a 16-way power driver’s seat, leather upholstery, and much more.  

2. A smooth ride 

The 2014 Lexus LS 460's 386-hp 4.6L V8 engine delivers smooth acceleration at 5.4 seconds to 60 mph. There's also optional all-wheel drive for enhanced traction in slippery conditions, but it brings zero-to-60 acceleration down to 5.9 seconds. On top of smooth acceleration, the LS 460 has a soft and compliant suspension system that delivers a smooth ride on all surfaces.   

3. Sweet rear seats 

The 2014 Lexus LS 460 is one sedan where the front and rear passengers get similar treatment. The rear seats are impressively comfortable and offer a respectable 35.8 inches of legroom in the standard model and 36.7 inches in the longer LS 460 L model. But what really makes the rear seats great is the optional Executive Package. This package adds power ottoman seats with massage functionality, rear air conditioning with a cool box, rear audio controls, rear power sunshades, a rear-seat DVD entertainment system, and more.  

4. Massive trunk 

When you own a luxury car like this, you might want to take it on a few golf outings with colleagues and friends. This can sometimes pose an issue because getting all those clubs into your trunk could be a headache. Not in the 2014 Lexus LS 460. With its massive 18-cu-ft trunk, it can easily handle several sets of golf clubs and anything else you can throw its way.  

5. Optional driver-assist features 

Though it has no standard driver-assist features, this luxury sedan has plenty of optional equipment to meet your needs. Its optional driver assist features include blind-spot monitoring with rear cross-traffic alert, automatic emergency braking, full-speed adaptive cruise control, a driver-attention monitor, and more. Though these features can’t replace your own awareness, they can certainly make your daily commute that little bit easier.
