2015 Lexus LX 570 review

1. All-wheel terrain 

One of the first things you'll likely notice upon settling in the captain chair on the 2015 LX 570 is the numerous knobs located on the center console, under the gearbox. These turn the already robust all-wheel drive and suspension hardware into an adaptable all-terrain system. If you're suddenly climbing a mountain, for instance, toggle on hill-start assist. 2. Smart powertrain  

Under the hood of the 2015 Lexus LX 570 is a 5.7L 383-horsepower V8 engine. Paired with a six-speed automatic transmission, the powertrain can produce 403 lb-ft of torque and can tow an estimated 7,000 lbs, when properly equipped.

That's huge power, no doubt, but it's the sequential-shift intelligent gearbox that keeps the LX 570 under seamless control, whatever mountain you might end up on. On average, the engine gets an EPA-estimate 14 mpg combined.

The first thing you'll notice upon stepping inside the 2015 Lexus LX 570 is how easy the stepping is. That's because Lexus fitted the full-sized, 6,000 lb SUV with an adjustable ride height to help you (and perhaps the kids) enter and exit the vehicle with ease. Once you're settled in, you'll find a cozy cabin with 42 inches of legroom up front, 36 inches in the second row, and 28 inches in the third.

The Lexus LX 570 comes fitted with a flagship Enform touchscreen color infotainment system in the center console.
