- The Mazda3 is available in a variety of new trims, including the I Grand Touring, I Sport, I SV, I Touring, S Grand Touring, and S Touring.
- The I and S trims have been discontinued for 2012.
- Mazda3 trims have been upgraded with Navigation System as standard equipment this year.
- No A/C, Blind Spot Monitor, Leatherette Seats, and Memory Seat(s) features are now available as options on select trims.
- The Mazdaspeed trim now comes with BOSE Sound System as standard equipment.
