5 reasons to buy the 2018 Nissan Sentra
1. Ample cargo space
The 2018 Nissan Sentra has plenty of cargo space to meet your everyday needs as well as the occasional vacation and long-distance trip. It has a 15.1-cu-ft trunk, which is large enough for shopping bags, sports gear, or vacation luggage. On top of that, the Sentra has split-folding rear seats—and you can also fold down the front passenger seat—which significantly increases flexibility for carrying large and bulky items.
2. Quiet and comfortable ride
The 2018 Nissan Sentra is a supremely comfortable compact sedan. You'll enjoy a smooth and composed ride every time you get behind the wheel, and your passengers will love the ride, too. The cabin is quiet and isolates road noise quite well, and small bumps on city streets and the highway are barely noticeable.
3. Spacious interior
Abundant passenger space is another strong suit of the 2018 Nissan Sentra. It has seating for five, with both rows offering sufficient room for passengers to ride comfortably and not feel cramped. The Sentra has 39.4 inches of headroom and 42.5 inches of legroom in the front row, with 36.7 inches of headroom and 37.4 inches of legroom for rear-seat passengers.
4. Available turbo engine
The base engine in the 2018 Nissan Sentra is a 1.8L four-cylinder with 124 hp and 125 lb-ft of torque, but there's another option if you're looking for stronger performance. The available turbocharged 1.6L four-cylinder engine is considerably more powerful, generating 188 hp and 177 lb-ft of torque. It's offered with the SR Turbo and NISMO trims. When powered by the turbocharged 1.6L engine, the 2018 Sentra can go from zero to 60 mph in 8.7 seconds and reach a top speed of 122 mph (according to the manufacturer, when new).
5. Connectivity and convenience
As far as technology is concerned, the 2018 Nissan Sentra has a fair number of standard features and a few more available options. It comes standard with a backup camera and a five-inch infotainment system featuring Bluetooth® connectivity. Plus, the Sentra has a height-adjustable driver's seat, cruise control, and remote keyless entry.
