1. Large engines 

The 2017 Ram 3500 delivers power that you can count on for work or play. A 383-hp 5.7L Hemi^® V8 comes standard. An even larger 410-hp 6.4L Hemi^® V8 is an available option. But for the most torque–900 lb.-ft.–choose the 385-hp 6.7L Cummins® turbo diesel. 

2. Strong towing 

Moving a sailboat, hauling horses, or bringing an excavator to the job site is no problem with the 2017 Ram 3500. With the available 6.7L turbo diesel, the 2017 Ram 3500 can tow up to an estimated 31,210 pounds when properly equipped.

3. Hauling 

Maybe you prefer to move heavy loads, like hay bales or paving stones, in the bed of the truck rather than on a trailer. The 2017 Ram 3500 makes that possible with even large loads. With the available 6.7L turbo diesel, the 2017 Ram 3500 can haul up to an estimated 7,390 when properly equipped. With the standard 5.7L V8, the 2016 Ram 3500 can haul up to an estimated 4,480 when properly equipped. Available features like a dual-rear axle and the RamBox cargo management system make hauling easy.  

4. Upscale interior 

After a long day at work, enjoy a night on the town with your 2017 Ram 3500. The mid-range Laramie trim comes standard with genuine leather upholstery and heated, ventilated front bucket seats. A sunroof, heated rear seats, and wood interior accents are also available. The available Mega Cab adds 43.3 inches of rear legroom, making the cab extra spacious.  

5. Functional bed  

Customize the bed of your 2017 Ram 3500, with the available RamBox cargo management system. The system adds lots of interesting features, including two locking side storage boxes. A collapsible extender or divider allows you to secure cargo with the tailgate flat, giving you extra space for the longest loads.
