5 reasons to buy the 2021 Toyota Sequoia
1. Ready for the great outdoors
If you enjoy camping with your family, driving out to the hills for some quiet time, or just want to head out into the wilderness with your buddies, the 2021 Toyota Sequoia could be the one for you. Look to the TRD Pro model if you want maximum off-road prowess. The Multi-Mode 4WD (standard on TRD Pro and available on other trims) with the Torsen® limited-slip differential and locking feature means you'll be able to take your Sequoia over even the roughest terrain.
2. Powerful engine
To make your choice a bit easier, the 2021 Sequoia comes with one engine option—and it's a good one! The 5.7L V8 pumps out 381 horsepower with plenty of get-up-and-go for passing on the highway or climbing over rocks. On standard front-wheel-drive models with the V8, you'll get an EPA-estimated 15 combined mpg, which drops to 14 combined mpg for four-wheel-drive models.
3. Plenty of cargo space
This is an SUV that gives you space to stretch out. Whether you're loading up camping and fishing gear or grabbing supplies for that DIY project, the Sequoia has you covered. The trunk has 18.9-cu-ft of space behind the third row across all trims. That opens up to 66.6 cu-ft with the third-row seats folded. If you need maximum space for sports gear or yard sale finds, fold all the seats for a ginormous 120.1 cu-ft of space.
4. Luxury as standard
The Sequoia has always been known for its raft of luxury features even at the base level. All models have a power tilt and slide sunroof, three-zone climate control, a power-adjustable driver's seat, and a wealth of driver-assist features—including lane departure warning, adaptive cruise control, and pedestrian detection. Climb the trim levels for truly high-end features such as a premium sound system (Platinum and up), a rear seat Blu-ray Disc™ player (optional on Limited and Nightshade Edition, standard on Platinum and up), and much more.
5. Bring all your toys along for the ride
With that powerful 5.7L V8 engine, you open up a whole new world of adventure. With an estimated towing capacity of 7,100 lbs across all models, when properly equipped, the 2021 Toyota Sequoia makes it easy to take your boat to the lake or haul bikes for the whole family.
Even if you've got a full car of eight people, this means you can hitch up a trailer so no one goes without their essentials on that next road trip.Shop with your budget in mind
