5 reasons to buy the 2016 Volkswagen Passat
1. Refine your commute
You can upgrade your daily drive by switching to a 2016 Volkswagen Passat. Excellent attention to detail and carefully tuned suspension give you a refined driving experience that makes even longer commutes comfortable. Good sound isolation and laser-welded seams keep outside noises at a minimum, too. The 2016 Volkswagen Passat will provide a moment of quiet while on the road whether that's going to the office or going home.
2. Versatile engine options
Subdued or exciting, whatever your driving style, the 2016 Volkswagen Passat's two engine choices fit the bill. The base 1.8L turbocharged four-cylinder engine is no slouch, offering plenty of power for daily driving around town and some brisk highway driving. Or, if you want to pack a punch, look for a 2016 Volkswagen Passat with a 280-hp V6 engine. The V6 adds some spice to the routine, paired with a dual-clutch six-speed automatic transmission. And, with an EPA-estimated 28 mpg highway and 20 mpg city, you won't need to stop often to refuel.
3. Space for the whole crew
Thanks to a generous passenger cabin, wide rear seats, and 15.9 cu-ft of trunk space, the 2016 Volkswagen Passat has room to spare. Take up to five passengers along for the ride, who will enjoy their heated rear seats in V6 models, or make use of the 60/40 split-folding rear seat to carry longer items such as skis. There's still enough space with part of the seat folded down to bring one or two passengers, making the Passat nicely versatile.
4. Technology for every drive
Loaded with plenty of standard features, the 2016 Volkswagen Passat includes the driver assists you're looking for to take some of the strain out of your daily drives. A 2016 Volkswagen Passat 1.8L has essentials like a rearview camera. Still, the base Passat has an available suite of aids such as adaptive cruise control, forward collision warning with automatic braking, and lane departure warning. The Passat V6 model adds all that technology as standard, plus rear traffic alert, parking assists, and much more.
5. Creature comforts on the go
The 2016 Volkswagen Passat offers many of the comforts you might enjoy at home while on the road. A 2016 Volkswagen Passat V6 offers natural wood trim, heated seats, lumbar controls, and automatic climate control. Turn up the volume on your favorite music with the standard Fender® premium audio system, Bluetooth® streaming, or via a USB connection. A power sunroof (V6 trim, 1.8L optional) is the ideal skylight, opening the interior to the outdoors.
