Outstanding SUV! Full of great options!

This is a solid, safe and well built SUV. I love the adjustable suspension. The Trailhawk edition is a must have. So many great options that I have never seen in past vehicles I have owned. When the Temp drops below freezing the seat heater and heated steering wheel automatically come on. The self adjusting high beams is really cool! Air-conditioned front seat? Come on this is friggin' awesome! Jeep has come along way with it's quality and attention to the details. My experience with CarMax when buying this vehicle were the best. In and out in less than 90 minutes. I had an issue with the tires, brakes and radiator prior to taking delivery and they replaced with no questions asked. I highly recommend the Jeep Grand Cherokee!

Pros

  • Reliability: Just like the 2001 Jeep Cherokee before this one, I expect to get at least 200K in carefree driving!
  • Technology and Entertainment: The Trailhawk edition is load with tons of useful options!
  • Styling: What can I say... It's a Jeep. The look of the Trailhawk is classic "Ball to the wall"!

Most bang for the buck!

This is a small car so it's not for everyone but it is so much fun to drive! The engine and transmission are matched really well and maximize performance. It handles really well with a lot of positive road feel and great overall balance. Even tough it's completely stock, I autocross with it on occasion and easily keep up with much more expensive cars. The Bose stereo system is really nice but could use a little more power. There is quite a bit of road noise at higher speeds with the top up and some wind turbulence with the top down but that just comes with driving a sports car. And 35 MPG on average certainly doesn't hurt, especially in California, land of the high gas taxes!

Pros

  • Fuel Economy: 35 MPG in a car that's so much fun to drive!
  • Ride and Handling: Even completely stock, this car handles like a dream!
  • Reliability: This is my third Mazda sports car. From old to new, Mazda knows how to build a reliable sports car.

Cons

  • Cargo Space: This is a small car so don't plan on hauling much in it.
  • Cabin Noise: There is quite a bit of wind noise with the top up and some turbulence with it down.
  • Interior Space: I'm 6' and fit OK, It probably would not work for someone much taller.

Never would have thought Wi-fi was important

I can't say enough great things about this car. I was considering the SLT but ended up buying the LT Texas Edition. I saved money but still got all of the best features - including Wi-fi - which I never before thought would be so valuable. Now that I have it I can't imagine my life without it. I get texts at the same time I'm on the phone. The kiddos can watch TV or play on their tablets. It especially came in handy last week when I had to send a work email during my son's baseball game. I was able to pull out my work laptop, connect to the wi-fi, get it done and go watch the game.

Pros

  • Ride and Handling:
  • Interior Space:
  • Styling:

Cons

  • Cabin Noise:
  • Value:
  • Seat Comfort:
