Nissan has to replace transmission within 2 months

This particular Nissan Sentra SV doesn’t rise smoothly enough for me. My old 2001 Toyota Corolla ran better. If I didn’t have to go through the hassle of getting another vehicle, I would quickly replace this one. I will see how things go but within 2 months of getting the car, Nissan had to replace the transmission and thankfully it was covered under their PowerTrain warranty. I don’t have many positive things to say. It’s winter time and I fear that something may happen and I will be stranded but nothing else major has come up yet. The car just doesn’t give me much confidence in the performance. Since I don’t have anything more concrete other than “it doesn’t feel right when I drive it” I will see if it fails me again or not

Love my camry s but the 2017 is so blah

i have owned 03, 07, 11, 14.5 camry s. i buy them new and trade them in when they hit 90k miles. i'm need to get a new one but the 2017 is so plain. looks like an oversized corolla. love the camry's , only oil changes, tires and batteries . occasionally brakes. these cars can go and go without major issues and they hold up their value. my 2003 had 213k miles and they still gave me $3500 on the trade in. if only toyota would restyle the camry, i would trade it in now. might have to hold out for the 2018 and hope for a better design.

Pros

  • Value: good value and great trade it value
  • Technology and Entertainment: has everything i need and most of what i want
  • Reliability: never a doubt

Cons

  • Cabin Noise: ok for the price but with bluetooth , people complain about a lot of background noise, even with the windows closed
  • Styling: camry keeps getting smaller and more plain looking
  • Seat Comfort: i drive a lot so would be nice if camry offered a/c vented seats

Spent a little extra and it paid off

I purchased the High Country and the fit, finish, and comfort are outstanding. I receive a ton of compliments but the most rewarding part is the comfort of the ride and the reliability that chevys have had in my lifetime with different family vehicles (I sleep easy). I couldn't be happier with all aspects except the media (music) has an issue with Bluetooth or even hardwire when I receive a call so I have to attempt to restart it or switch through different menus before it will reset and connect to Bluetooth or play music through a direct wire connection. Amazing truck for comfort and utility.
