Stay away from Carmax as the salesman I had did not have any knowledge about what cars could be flat towed. I loved the car I had, but it could not be flat towed behind the RV I bought, so I ha to trade it in. He sold me a car that could NOT be flat towed---the reason I got it. I lost money on the trade as my car was newer, and had more features and better quality. I had to trade in the useless Carmax car to a differnt dealer who knew what cars could be flat towed and lost money again. Carmas cost me about $6,000 and LOTS of STRESS---STAY AWAY>

Poor quality have had 5 issues in less than 5 months. Dealer says one issue is normal, the grinding of brakes. You can judge for yourself if you'd like, my review is on youtube Under "Volkswagen VW 2019 Jetta review with all 5 issues". The issue I'm most concerned with is the brakes and you can hear the "normal" 3 minutes into the video. Everyone I know says it's not regular. 30 years of driving and never heard. It's great having a warranty but when you bring it in for the third time and they say there's nothing wrong it's pointless. They even said other customers have complained but that's how Volkswagens sound. Crazy. Of course there's the other issues including a back panel popping off and a recall for water leaks.

I really enjoy the grunty 6 cylinder engine. It also has AWD, which really helps the acceleration. The seats are comfortable and I like the elegantly simple and functional interior. I also like the exterior design/look. I wish the back up camera had an audio collision warning element. I thought it was there but switched off with preferences, but it is not--it's just not there. I also would like for the suspension to be a little more taught. My RDX is a Sport edition, but it still feels a little lax on corners at speed. Otherwise, I love this vehicle, and would definitely consider getting another one.

Pros

Power: Nice acceleration, especially when merging onto highway traffic.
Cabin Noise: Nice and quiet.

Cons

Technology and Entertainment: Back up camera should have an audio proximity warning. The camera display could also be bigger.
Ride and Handling: Great, smooth ride, but I feel it could be a little tighter around corners at higher speeds.
