Since 1965, the Ford Mustang has been turning heads with its sleek, sporty design and brawny engines. The 2015 Ford Mustang is no exception; as the first release of the sixth generation (2015-2020), the 2015 Mustang boasts three different engine options (including a stout V8) and is available in both coupe and convertible body styles to suit your tastes.
Standard equipment on the iconic 2015 Mustang includes keyless entry and ignition, a six-speaker sound system, and a leather-wrapped steering wheel. Overall, this car is a great choice if you're looking for something that's sporty and fun to drive without sacrificing versatility.

The release of the 2015 Ford Mustang marked the debut of this iconic model's sixth generation of production (2015-2020). Featuring an all-new turbocharged EcoBoost engine and independent rear suspension, the sixth-generation Mustang sits 1.5 inches lower and measures 1.5 inches wider than its 2014 predecessor. The end result? Tighter handling and a more spacious interior for drivers and passengers alike.
Ford Mustang Engine Options
A 3.7L V6 engine at 300 hp is standard on all base sixth-generation Mustang models through the 2017 model year. Beginning in 2018, however, the base V6 trim was dropped, as was the 3.7L V6 engine. Instead, the turbocharged 2.3L four-cylinder EcoBoost engine at 310 hp became standard—although the GT and Bullitt trim (introduced in 2019) received a brawny 5.0L V8 engine at 435-480 hp.
Every sixth-generation Mustang comes with rear-wheel drive and a six-speed manual transmission, although an automatic transmission is optional.
Ford Mustang Storage Space
Each sixth-generation Mustang offers the same dimensions in terms of trunk space: 13.5 cubic feet in the coupe's trunk, and a slightly smaller 11.4 cubic feet in the convertible's trunk. Storage space can be optimized on the coupe when needed by folding down the rear split-folding seats, which is ideal when you need to haul groceries, sports gear, or other bulkier items from point A to point B.

Reviews for 2015 Ford Mustang
Wonderful and a great sales experience!
This is the perfect car to ride around town in and is great for road trips!
- Styling: It’s gorgeous!
- Cabin Noise: The engine growl of a Mustang is the best thing in the world.
- Braking: Amazing brakes! I have avoided animals well living out in the country.
- Interior Space: The dogs really don’t fit. The backseat seatbelts are also NOT standard and the headrests do not raise so you can’t buckle pups in or get a bucket seat to protect from fur.
- Cargo Space: Moving cross country in a Mustang was... interesting. My suitcase alone does not fit in the trunk; had to get a duffel bag.
- Technology and Entertainment: The Bluetooth voice controls are not very good. I find myself having to use my phone to make calls which I like to avoid while driving in a car that is meant to have that capability.
Great car at decent price
I love mustang's and waited for good car for decent prize and Car max is the place where you will have lot of options to choose. Wait is over and finally got a good car for best price.Received good service from the employee's of Newark DE location.
- Fuel Economy:
Great car exactly what I wanted
It's not common I have the only one that looks like it in Fort Lauderdale (that I've seen) it's the perfect place for a convertible. I get great gas mileage and let's be honest rarely have the opportunity to leave 3rd gear because I can go at least 60 in top of 3rd.
