Meanwhile, a capable V6 engine powers your drive wherever your adventures take you.

2019 Jeep Wrangler Interior Description

The 2019 Jeep Wrangler features a roomy, durable, and easy to clean interior that is perfectly suited for off-roading adventures. The 2019 Jeep Wrangler comes standard with cloth upholstery and offers leather upholstery as an available option on upper trims. Child Seat Details

The 2019 Jeep Wrangler is capable of fitting two car seats in its second row and can accommodate most types of car seats, including latch car seats, rear-facing convertible car seats, forward-facing convertible car seats, and infant car seats. However, the 2019 Wrangler does not easily accommodate booster car seats due to the position of the rear seatbelt buckles, and you may have a difficult time fitting in an infant car seat unless you push the front passenger seat all the way up.

Model Year Comparisons

2007-2017 Jeep Wrangler (Third Generation)

The third-generation Wrangler began with the release of the 2007 model and continued through the 2017 model. In addition to redesigning the Wrangler's interior and exterior for this new generation, the third-generation Wrangler also received updates such as power door locks, power windows, and the addition of a four-door "Unlimited" model.

2018-Present Jeep Wrangler (Fourth Generation)

As it entered into its fourth generation the Jeep Wrangler was fully redesigned in 2018 to include an updated, more modern interior styling. A redesigned transmission was paired with a new turbocharged four-cylinder engine option or the 3.6L V6 engine that was carried over from the previous generation.

The 2019 Wrangler is part of this SUV's fourth generation of production, which is also commonly referred to as the "JL" generation. This line of Wrangler models launched in 2018 with a longer, wider, and taller body than the previous "JK" generation—featuring the same standard V6 engine paired to a new eight-speed automatic transmission. Also new for the fourth-generation Wrangler was the optional turbocharged engine.

For the 2019 model year specifically, the Wrangler saw the addition of optional driver-assistance features like forward-collision warning and adaptive cruise control.

2019 Jeep Wrangler Engine Options

The 2019 Wrangler is equipped with a standard 3.6L V6 engine at 285 hp; this engine is paired to a six-speed manual transmission, although an eight-speed automatic transmission was available when the vehicle was sold new.

Also optional for every trim was a turbocharged 2.0L four-cylinder engine at 270 hp; models outfitted with this engine come exclusively with an eight-speed automatic transmission.

Every 2019 Wrangler is also equipped with four-wheel drive, so you can venture off the beaten path with confidence. The Moab trim receives a specialized full-time four-wheel-drive system—which was also optional on the Sahara trim when sold new.

Buying Options

Lease vs Buy

There are several key pros and cons to consider when it comes to choosing between leasing or buying a car. While leasing a car means that you will have lower monthly payments and little to no down payment, it also means that you may be subject to fees such as excessive mileage fees or wear and tear fees and also means that you will not have full ownership of your vehicle. Buying a car outright, on the other hand, means higher payments but full ownership and potentially lower insurance premiums.

New vs Used

Whether you should purchase a car used or new ultimately comes down to your budget and preferences. A new car is obviously going to be more expensive than the same model used, but it does offer advantages such as no wear and tear. If you purchase a used car from a trusted and reputable dealership , though, you shouldn't have to worry about any unforeseen issues with the vehicle.

Manufacturer Warranty

When new, the 2019 Jeep Wrangler came with a 3 years or 36,000 miles factory warranty. The balance of this warranty may apply on some vehicles. See store for details.

Great Purchase

Great everyday vehicle. I don’t use it for off-road. I am glad that I bought this car.

  • Styling: I love the color. I never thought I would buy a red car. But it is so beautiful. Glad I found it online and had it brought to Houston.

  • Ride and Handling: If I rated on a 1-10 it would be a 2. i cannot really find anything wrong with this jeep.
