As with many new model generations, the fourth generation of the Kia Optima delivered a new look, though not terribly changed from the third generation, as well as additional features. Previewing in 2015, the plug-in hybrid version previewed at the Chicago Auto Show in 2016. Both platforms are based on the Hyundai Sonata. - Interior Space: the dark interior fits my needs
- Cabin Noise: the A/C makes a loud noise. I was suppose to receive a call back about getting it checked before my warranty and I never got a date. The noise is loud and embarrassing but I’ll have to get it fixed out of pocket
Fabulous car at a great price
This car is so sassy, full of extras, looks sporty but feels so comfortable. Super spacious back seat area and rides like you're sitting on your living room couch.
- Ride and Handling: Looks super sporty, handles tight, but also rides super comfy
- Seat Comfort: seat coolers as well as seat warmers
- Styling: love the panoramic sun roof; this car just looks fancy
- Technology and Entertainment: Wish there were forward facing cameras as well as the rear facing
- Visibility: blind spot monitors are on the mirrors and kind of small. Wish they were on the inside of the car right near where the side mirror attaches to the door, like my husband's Nissan Rogue
