The Kia Sorento's third generation made its official debut at the 2014 Paris Motor Show. Though it is 3.74 inches longer than the previous generation, it's also situated lower to the ground to improve overall handling. It was originally available with either a manual or automatic six-speed transmission, though by the time the 2018 Kia Sorento came into the market, it was only available in an automatic version. The entire generation has used three different engines in the North American market, including the 3.3L V6 at 290 hp, the 2.4L inline-four at 190 hp and the newer 2.0L inline-four at 240 hp.

Reviews for 2018 Kia Sorento
This is a great family car. My wife loves driving it. It drives smaller than a minivan, and is easier to fit in the garage and in tight parking lots. But has the room of a mid-sized SUV with room for 7. Gets great gas mileage for its size, and has lots of power.
- Visibility: Sits high, but isn't huge.
- Ride and Handling: Rides nice and smooth and quiet
- Styling: Looks great
Nice, clean and Dependable
great gas mileage, comfortable seats and love the blue toothe. load the back with 10 bags if mulch without letting the rear seat down.
- Interior Space: very roomy for a large family or anyone with a very large dog.
- Ride and Handling: Handles curves very good, tracks to the road surface.
- Visibility: love the model, design and color
- Dashboard: easy read for all systems. Like the service reminders.
- Value: wish I could have bought it sooner.
- Seat Comfort: passenger seat doesn't adjust up and down like drivers seat.
LOVE it - such a great vehicle!
I love it, we just moved to a mountainous area and it's perfect for going up and down in elevation, snow and rough roads. It's comfortable and an easy ride.
- Ride and Handling: It handles really well and rides easy on roads
- Weather Versatility: We have all kinds of weather here and it's been a champ through it all so far!
- Interior Space: I used this car to move a lot of our stuff to our new home and it has a lot of space in it!
- Dashboard: I do wish the slippery road light wouldn't stay on once the temps drop below 39, I live in the mountains that's a lot of the time!
- Visibility: I do wish the back window was a little bigger, it would be just a little easier to see out of.
