It is too low to the ground, it is a sedan chassis, I want a truck chassis. The rear opening is one piece - window & “tailgate” combined. First off, there is no tailgate! Second of all you can’t put stuff in the rear compartment unless the full swing of the huge door is considered. If you have anything mounted to the tow-bar you can’t use the back hatch at all. The deck of the rear storage area is flush with the bumper - if you’ve been shopping and have to park in a driveway with a decline everything falls out. No compass on the instrument cluster. The “heating” system is a joke. There is no way to get hot air out in a cold day. There is no way to turn the heater off! If it is a cool sunny day and I’d like the flow of air!!!!

Pros

Reliability: Has gotten us where we need to go for almost 6 months.
Fuel Economy: Good fuel economy.

Cons

Power: Like driving a sewing machine.
Visibility: The rear window is angled upward, visibility is awful and I don’t feel safe. The backup camera is sketchy at best. I avoid all backup situations.
Interior Space: You can’t fit a 4x8 sheet of lumber in it, you can’t fit anything longer than 8’ (and that’s a squeeze) in the cabin. If the car had a split rear door it would help, if the “Roof rack” had horizontal bars in addition to the vertical bars, maybe we’d have a workable system. As it is - not so much.

First off, I am not a person in my 50's looking for flashy, speed etc,, that being said, after owning a brand New Jeep Patriot that the transmission went bad on at 70K mileage, I was looking for another similar car to go from A to B in relative comfort. My wife was driving my 1994 grand cherokee with 225K miles and we worried about her driving it to Phoenix,, so she was the first Rogue, and she drove a Chevy, Equinox,, jeep Cherokee, grand Cherokee and Journey. She liked the rogue,, which was a 2016 so we bought it,, then my jeep tranny went so I went and drove a Jeep Cherokee and the Rogue I bought,, ( wont let me type more) Bought a 2015 Rogue

Pros

Fuel Economy: I get 32 mpg, I get 350 miles plus from a tank of gas
Ride and Handling: Pretty quick handling for a SUV
Cargo Space: has a cool sectional top to the rear cargo, can pick up half the deck and make a small holding compartment.

Cons

Visibility: although my car has the warnings, my wifes Rogue does not, same model though. has small windows like most SUV to the side rear

I love the amount of interior space without making it huge all around. I have never had an issue with things not fitting in my car. The electronics in the car are also great, as is the Bose speakers that came with the SL model. Picks up my iPhone via Bluetooth quite well, though I might eventually replace the screen with a CarPlay-compatible after-market screen. Carmax also took amazing care of my car during and after the purchase, and I will forever sing their praises.

Pros

Ride and Handling: Smooth
Interior Space: Far bigger than competitors in the same car class size
Fuel Economy: Far better mpg than competitors in the same car class size

Cons

Technology and Entertainment: Wish it came standard with Apple CarPlay, otherwise it's great!
