2015 Nissan Rogue vs. Other SUVs
Now that you've seen what the Nissan Rogue has to offer, let's see how it stacks up against other SUVs for sale on the market.
- 2015 Nissan Rogue vs. 2015 Chevrolet Equinox
Like the 2015 Rogue, the 2015 Chevrolet Equinox is a compact crossover SUV. Unlike the 2015 Rogue, it does not offer optional third-row seating, so capacity maxes out at five passengers. It also offers less in the way of maximum cargo space at 63.7 cubic feet, compared to the 2015 Rogue's 70 cubic feet. Still, the 2015 Equinox has a lot to offer in the way of standard features and other options. Its base L trim, for example, offers integrated 4G LTE connectivity and Wi-Fi hotspot capabilities in addition to keyless entry, a six-speaker sound system, and 17-inch alloy wheels. The 2015 Equinox also has two available engine options: a 2.4L four-cylinder at 182 horsepower (which is standard on all trims) and an optional 3.6L V6 at 301 horsepower.
- 2015 Nissan Rogue vs. 2015 Toyota RAV4
The 2015 RAV4 is also a compact crossover that is available in three trim configurations, all of which come standard with front-wheel drive (all-wheel drive is an optional add-on). It is also available in a single engine configuration: a 2.5L four-cylinder at 176 horsepower. Unlike the 2015 Rogue, the RAV4 maxes out at two rows for a seating capacity of five people. From a space perspective, the 2015 RAV4 boasts an impressive 73.3 cubic feet of maximum cargo space, compared to 70 cubic feet on the 2015 Rogue. Standard equipment on the 2015 RAV4 is generous and includes a rearview camera, 6.1-inch touchscreen interface, six-speaker sound system, full power accessories, and keyless entry.
- 2015 Nissan Rogue vs. 2015 Subaru Forester
Off-roaders will rejoice in the fact that the 2015 Subaru Forester comes standard with all-wheel drive on each of its six trim levels. Unlike the 2015 Rogue, it is also offered in two engine configurations: a 2.5L four-cylinder at 170 horsepower and a turbocharged 2.0L four-cylinder at 250 horsepower. Storage space is also among the top of its class, maxing out at 74.7 cubic feet with second-row seats folded down. The 2015 Rogue and 2015 Forester share some standard equipment, including 17-inch wheels, a rearview camera, and a four-speaker sound system. The 2015 Forester lacks keyless entry and LED running lights, but boasts more cargo space and standard all-wheel drive.

Reviews for 2015 Nissan Rogue
2015 Nissan Rogue
The Rogue is a very practical, yet stylish/sporty SUV. It drives like a dream and I love having the peace of mind with the AWD during the harsh winter months here in Northeast Ohio. It gets great gas mileage for a SUV, and I also love how comfortable the seats are & the beautiful tan interior! I’m definitely looking forward to going on many road trips in my Rogue in the future.
- Weather Versatility:
- Fuel Economy:
I love the amount of interior space without making it huge all around. I have never had an issue with things not fitting in my car. The electronics in the car are also great, as is the Bose speakers that came with the SL model. Picks up my iPhone via Bluetooth quite well, though I might eventually replace the screen with a CarPlay-compatible after-market screen. Carmax also took amazing care of my car during and after the purchase, and I will forever sing their praises.
- Ride and Handling: Smooth
- Interior Space: Far bigger than competitors in the same car class size
- Fuel Economy: Far better mpg than competitors in the same car class size
- Technology and Entertainment: Wish it came standard with Apple CarPlay, otherwise it's great!
Great on gas mileage!
I’ve only owned my vehicle for 4 months and although it is an older model, this mini SUV drives really well and is great on gas mileage (32mpg). Has a lot of safety/warning features, panoramic sun roof, Bluetooth, leather powered seats, roomy rear seating and cargo area. This car comes with so much that there really isn’t anything more you can ask for in this size SUV. I love my Rogue.
- Fuel Economy: 32 mpg
- Ride and Handling: Handles really well on the highway.
- Reliability: So far so good.
- Cabin Noise: Could be better but not a deal breaker.
