2024 Audi A5 review

Choose the A5 Sportback if you want seating for five passengers and a hatch-style cargo door, while the two-door coupe offers executive-style driving, with an aerodynamic eye-catching sports silhouette. 

2. Engine performance 

The available 2024 A5 engine options are all set to thrill, though it's the body style that initially dictates which you get, rather than the trim level you choose. The four-door hatchback edition houses the base engine, a turbocharged 2.0L four-cylinder, capable of 201 hp and 236 pound-feet of torque. If you’re leaning towards the 2024 A5 coupe or convertible, you’ll enjoy a turbocharged 2.0L four-cylinder engine, good for 261 horsepower and 273 lb-ft of torque. This upgraded engine is also available as an option for the Sportback model. 

3. Trim features 

The 2024 Audi A5 is generously equipped, throughout its style and trim iterations. The Premium base trim has leather upholstery, Android Auto^™ and wireless Apple CarPlay^® smartphone connectivity, and adaptive cruise control all as standard. Pick the coupe or Sportback model, and you’ll also get a panoramic sunroof. Stepping up to the Premium Plus trim includes two passenger-pleasing upgrades: a Bang & Olufsen^® premium audio system and wireless device charging. The Prestige trim unlocks heated rear seats for the Sportback model, built-in navigation, and for the A5 Cabriolet, the welcome addition of neck heaters. 

4. All-wheel drive 

For enhanced road handling, the 2024 A5 comes equipped with all-wheel drive and sports suspension as standard across all body styles.
