5 reasons to buy the 2022 Audi S8
1. Distinctive appearance
The Audi S8 is a large performance sedan. One of the more discrete cars in its class, the S8 is a little more distinctive than before. New for 2022, subtle styling changes include reshaped headlights and bumpers, and a customizable taillight signature with digital OLEDs. The available Black Optic Plus package adds a little more menace if you want a more striking appearance, with gloss black Audi badges, door mirror caps, and larger 21-inch alloy wheels.
2. Plenty of power
Under the bonnet of the 2022 Audi S8 is a 4.0L turbocharged V8 gasoline engine. The 563-hp eight-cylinder provides a thrilling driving experience and the 590 lb-ft of torque on offer is more than enough for most scenarios. Zero to 60 takes 3.8 seconds (according to the manufacturer), so there is plenty of performance for highway overtakes or country back roads. You'll appreciate the flexibility of the eight-speed Tiptronic® transmission’s manual and automatic modes as they can provide interaction or relaxation, depending on your mood.
3. Active suspension
As well as AWD, a quattro® sport differential, and a dynamic all-wheel steering system to inspire more confidence behind the wheel, the 2022 Audi S8 has air suspension supplemented by an electromagnetic system. New for this model year, the predictive active suspension system uses a front-facing camera to read the road ahead, anticipating surface irregularities. The ride is constantly adjusted with an electric motor to make it the most comfortable for your passengers.
4. High-tech interior
The 2022 Audi S8 has plenty of interior technology to please everyone onboard. The 10.3-inch and 8.6-inch digital screens that control the infotainment and four-zone climate control systems can be operated by voice, and up to eight mobile devices can connect to available LTE mobile Wi-Fi.
New for the 2022 S8 is wireless Android Auto™, SiriusXM® with 360L satellite and streaming radio, and the Audi Personalization 2.0 function which allows you to save seat positions, climate control, lighting settings, and your favorite radio stations.5. Available packages
The 2022 Audi S8 is a luxury car, but available packages add even more lavish features. The Executive package comes with a suite of advanced driver assistance systems and distinctive 21-inch alloy wheels. However, if you and your passengers favor more opulence, the available Comfort Plus package includes a faux-suede headliner, heated rear outboard seats, and a windshield head-up display.
