5 reasons to buy the 2014 Buick Enclave
1. Roomy three-row cabin
As standard, the maximum passenger capacity inside the 2014 Enclave is seven, though an optional second-row bench seat on Leather and Premium models increases capacity to eight. All occupants have plenty of legroom to stretch out – 41.3 inches in the front row, 36.8 inches in the second row, and 33.2 inches in the third row. Coupled with touches like the padded trim with contrast stitching on the dashboard, you get a cabin that feels upscale and a pleasant place to be in.
2. Large cargo space
The 2014 Enclave not only has enough space to accommodate all your passengers with ease but also everyone’s luggage as well. In standard configuration, the trunk packs a total of 23.3 cu-ft of cargo volume, enough to swallow all the grocery shopping with space to spare. When you need more storage space for transporting larger items like furniture, the second and third-row seats both fold flat. This increases cargo volume to 68.9 cu-ft with the third-row seats folded and an enormous 115.2 cu-ft with both second- and third-row seats stowed.
3. Dynamic V6 engine
Under the hood of every 2014 Enclave is a 3.6L V6 engine, teamed with a six-speed automatic transmission and producing a stout 288 horsepower and 270 lb-ft of torque. That kind of power is ideal both for darting in and out of traffic in the city and for effortless highway cruising. Front-wheel drive is standard, but for enhanced acceleration and grip, all-wheel drive is available as an option across the range.
4. Impressive feature list
The 2014 Enclave is a full-size SUV with an appropriately full-sized feature list, with many of the items on there included as standard. The base Convenience group model comes equipped right out of the gate with rear parking sensors, cruise control, tri-zone automatic climate control, available OnStar® telematics, a 6.5-inch touchscreen display, and a six-speaker sound system.
If you're after extra luxury touches, the Leather group adds leather upholstery and heated front seats, while the top-line Premium group includes a ten-speaker Bose® sound system.5. Numerous driver convenience technologies
Just to add the finishing touch to the 2014 Enclave’s refined and relaxed driving experience, a selection of driver convenience features are available across the range to give you enhanced peace of mind while out on the road. Standard models offer rear parking assist and a rearview camera system, while the Leather Group adds blind-spot warning with rear cross-traffic alert and a side blind zone alert system. The Premium group is where most of the tech can be found, as it also includes adaptive headlights, forward collision warning, and lane departure warning.
