2022 Buick Enclave review

1. Spacious three-row cabin 

Take a look inside the 2022 Buick Enclave, and you’ll see right away that it more than lives up to the "full-size SUV" title. There’s seating for up to seven passengers, with a total of 157.3 cu-ft of passenger volume inside the vast cabin. Occupants in the two front-row seats get an impressive 41.2 inches of legroom, with occupants of the second-row captain’s chairs getting 38.3 inches, and passengers in the third row getting 33.5 inches.  

2. Large trunk and cargo space 

Even with a full house of passengers inside, the 2022 Enclave has plenty of room for everyone’s luggage. The trunk provides an impressive 26.2 cu-ft of cargo volume, enough to effortlessly swallow up the entire weekly groceries. Additionally, a hands-free liftgate is included as standard, making loading and unloading even easier. If you require extra storage space for larger items such as furniture, fold down the third-row seats to expand to 57.7 cu-ft of cargo volume, and up to 97.4 cu-ft with the second-row seats also folded flat.  

3. Stout V6 Engine 

Every 2022 Enclave comes equipped with a 3.6L V6 engine, putting all its power through the front wheels — all-wheel drive is an option on all trims. Speaking of power, total output is 310 horsepower and 266 lb-ft of torque, which is enough to propel the 2022 Enclave from zero to 60 mph in 7.0 seconds. It’s ideally suited for zipping away from the lights and for eating up the miles on the highway.  

4. Stacked feature list with lots of standard equipment 

Regardless of what trim level you select, you won’t be lacking equipment and features in your 2022 Enclave. There are three main trim levels to choose from, with even the base Essence offering an impressive array of features as standard. These include comfort options like leather upholstery, heated and power-adjustable front seats, and tri-zone automatic climate control. Moving up to the Premium trim adds heated second-row seats, a ten-speaker Bose^® sound system, and a heads-up display, while the Avenir trim rounds things off with a sunroof and navigation system. 

5. Numerous tech and driver convenience features 

To make every journey as easy as possible, the 2022 Enclave includes a wealth of driver convenience technologies across the trims and feature list. All models include a blind-spot monitor with rear cross-traffic alert, forward collision mitigation, and lane-keeping assist. The Premium trim adds a digital rearview mirror and a surround-view camera system, while the Avenir trim tops off the suite of convenience tech with adaptive cruise control.
