5 reasons to buy the 2017 Buick Enclave
1. Vast cabin offers plenty of legroom for all passengers
Inside the sleek full-size SUV body of the 2017 Enclave is an equally full-size cabin. There’s space for seven passengers inside in standard configuration with two second-row captain’s chairs, which can be expanded to eight with the optional second-row bench seat available on Leather and Premium trims. Regardless of seating layout, everyone has plenty of space to stretch out and get comfortable, with 41.3 inches of front seat legroom, 36.8 inches of second-row legroom, and 33.2 inches of third-row legroom.
2. Equally roomy trunk and cargo space
As all your passengers get comfortable in their seats, load up the equally capacious trunk with all of their luggage. There’s an impressive 23.3 cu-ft of cargo volume behind the rear seats, enough to swallow up luggage for a family vacation. For larger and awkwardly-shaped items such as furniture, the seats all fold flat, opening up even more cargo space. You'll get up to 68.9 cu-ft with the third row folded and a huge 115.2 cu-ft when you fold all the seats down.
3. Stacked feature list even on base models
Spread across three trim levels, a large proportion of all available features on the 2017 Enclave can be found on the base Convenience Group trim. These standard features include cruise control, rear privacy glass, OnStar® telematics, a six-speaker sound system, and tri-zone automatic climate control.
The middle-tier Leather Group includes heated front seats and leather upholstery, and the top-line Premium Group gathers all previously mentioned features together and adds adaptive headlines, ventilated front seats, and an enhanced ten-speaker Bose® sound system.4. Driver convenience technologies in abundance
To make each journey as relaxed and stress-free as possible, the 2017 Enclave offers a selection of driver convenience technologies up and down the feature list. On standard Convenience Group models, you get a rear parking assist system and a rearview camera system to help with parking in tight spaces. Move up to the Leather Group to also get blind-spot monitoring, rear cross-traffic alert, and side blind-spot warning. Then to round things off, the top Premium Group adds on forward collision warning and lane departure warning.
5. Strong pulling power from the V6
Every 2017 Enclave comes with a 3.6L V6 engine, powering the front wheels as standard — with all-wheel-drive as an available option. This combination is good for 288 horsepower and 270 lb-ft of torque, which is easily enough for smooth acceleration away from the lights and for eating up the miles on the highway. As a bonus, the 2017 Enclave can tow up to an estimated 4,500 lbs with the optional towing package when properly equipped.
