2022 Nissan Frontier review

1. Powerful drivetrain

Lift the hood on a 2022 Frontier and you'll find a stout 3.8L V6 engine producing 310 horsepower and 281 pound-feet of torque. Connected to a smooth and quick-shifting nine-speed automatic transmission, it drives the rear wheels as standard or you can opt for four-wheel drive. This combination of power and capability is great for climbing steep gravel roads or passing that big rig on the highway.

2. Off-road capability

The 2022 Nissan Frontier comes with an available Pro-4X package, which adds off-road features like Bilstein^® shocks, electronic locking differential, and skid plates.
