5 reasons to buy the 2015 Nissan Frontier
1. Choose classic truck styling
During these times of crossovers and SUVs, you may want a truck that looks like a truck. Whether you choose the crew cab or king cab style, the 2015 Nissan Frontier offers a high-utility open bed that is perfect for carrying camping gear, boating equipment, or building supplies. The front grille is defined by angled struts and bordered by a beefy bumper.
2. Reimagine a truck bed
The Frontier goes a step further by including two channels in the bed, and one in the header, in addition to the side rails—perfect for tying gear down. The 2015 Frontier is available with a longer bed configuration in two crew cab packages, which gives you an additional 13 inches of added length. The space will come in handy when you're squeezing in that last stack of concrete blocks or one more bicycle.
3. Pick your power
If you like having a V6 under the hood, you are in luck. The 2015 Frontier offers a four-liter, 261-hp option that is perfect for pulling a boat or a camper out to the great outdoors. If you want something that is more thrifty, consider the in-line, four-cylinder engine with 152 hp. The smaller engine, which is only available in the 4x2 king cab configuration, will give you an EPA-estimated 19 mpg city and 23 mpg highway on two-wheel drive models with the manual transmission.
4. Shift your thinking
You may like the convenience of an automatic transmission while others prefer to choose their own gear. If you go automatic, a five-speed will keep your torque adjusted. If you decide the manual is better, you can get a six-speed manual with the V6 model. The king cab four-cylinder models offer a five-speed, while models equipped with the four-wheel drive system include shift on the fly.
5. Select more options
Depending on which engine and transmission you select, there are other goodies available, including AC and advanced electronics. Heated seats and leather seats are also available on some models along with a moon roof and roof rack. So keep an eye out for those must-have features as you may be able to find them on a used 2015 Frontier.
