5 reasons to buy the 2016 Infiniti QX80
1. Powerful engine
Under the hood of the 2016 QX80 is a large 5.6L V8 engine making 400 horsepower and 413 lb-ft of torque. All that power is routed through a seven-speed automatic transmission, and rear-wheel-drive is standard. However, you can also find an optional four-wheel drive system with a low-range gearing feature.
2. Great standard features
On the interior of the 2016 QX80, you'll find standard leather upholstery, automatic tri-zone climate control, a heated eight-way power driver seat, second-row captain's chairs, a power-folding 60/40-split third-row seat, and a power tilt-and-telescoping and heated steering wheel. The 2016 QX70 also has standard exterior features like 20-inch alloy wheels, automatic LED headlights and foglights, automatic high-beam control, a sunroof, roof rails, rear privacy glass, a power liftgate, and front and rear parking sensors. That's a lot to like about the 2016 QX80.
3. Technology integration
Standard technology features start with an eight-inch touchscreen display, a voice-activated navigation system, a 360-degree parking camera, Bluetooth® phone and audio connectivity, and a 13-speaker Bose® sound system. Use our features filter to find the Theater package, which adds a rear seat dual-screen entertainment system and a 120-volt household-type power outlet. Meanwhile, the Driver Assistance package adds blind spot monitoring, a lane-departure warning and intervention system, frontal collision warning, frontal collision mitigation, and a rear collision mitigation system (also available as part of the QX80 Signature Edition).
4. Lots of space
If you need a road trip hero, the 2016 QX80 has you covered. Behind the third row, you'll get 16.6 cu-ft of space, expanding to an impressive 95 cu-ft with all the rear seats folded. Seating capacity goes from seven to eight with the Split Bench Seat package. It replaces the Captain's chairs with a 60/40-split-folding bench seat in the middle row and is also available as part of the QX80 Signature Edition.
5. Impressive luxury
Search our listings for the Deluxe Technology package, and you'll get great features like 22-inch wheels, an upgraded suspension, plus interior features like upgraded leather upholstery, special wood trim, an upgraded climate control system, ventilated front seats, and a 15-speaker Bose audio system. New for 2016, the Signature Edition gets additional chrome trim and a special tan interior and bundles the Driver Assistance and Split Bench Seat packages. Meanwhile, the Limited package gets just about everything, plus a package-specific interior trim upgrade.
