CUV: comfortable utility vehicle
Soccer star Pelé said "Success is no accident. It is hard work, perseverance, and practice." It's the hard work of engineers that makes the 2015 Lexus RX 350 so successful, with a powerful engine, available AWD, a quiet and stylish interior, a comfortable ride, generous standard features, and luxurious option additions. With above-average cargo space, this is a great rideshare machine to pull consistent five stars, or simply score points when driving friends on a road trip. The Lexus RX 350 is an obvious choice for a luxury SUV to haul the kids to school during the week and occasionally tackle a dirt road to the campground.

5 reasons to buy the 2015 Lexus RX 350
1. Comfortable drive and ride
Whether behind the wheel or in the rear seats, you will appreciate the comfortable suspension tuning of the Lexus RX 350. From the driver’s seat, the RX 350 has an easy-going nature with soft steering heft and low feedback. In the passenger seat, you can feel how the suspension and sound-absorbing insulation prevent road thumps and bumps from reaching the cabin. It’s quiet at speed too, which is noticeable in how you can have conversations at a reasonable volume even on the highway.
2. Capable drivetrain
The 2015 Lexus RX 350 has a 3.5L V6 making 270 horsepower and 248 lb-ft of torque. In standard trim, it pairs with a six-speed automotive and front-wheel drive. Optional all-wheel drive adds confidence in corners and poor weather. The F Sport trim keeps the AWD but opts for an eight-speed automatic with the standard engine. A base RX 350 runs zero to 60 in 7.1 seconds when new. If towing a small boat or camper to the lake, the RX 350 with 3.5L V6 and optional Towing Prep Package has a maximum estimated towing capacity of 3,500 lbs when properly equipped.
3. Attractive F Sport
If you like your street tacos spicy, check out the F Sport trim that turns up the heat. Outside, look for a black grille, 19-inch alloy wheels in dark graphite finish, and an exclusive Ultra White paint color. Inside, F Sport adds optional perforated leather seat colors and badging. Underneath, an eight-speed auto with paddle shifters and AWD are standard, as is a revised suspension for improved handling. Fortunately, the F Sport trim doesn’t take it too far, keeping the easygoing driving nature.
4. Cool cabin
Settle into the 10-way power-adjustable leather driver’s seat and you will see an attractive and ergonomic interior. The steering wheel and shifter feature wood trim and leather. The standard seven-inch touchscreen, and optional eight-inch screen, reside above a stylized aluminum trim displaying sound system and HCAV controls easy to use without taking your eyes off the road. A rearview camera is standard this year, and the cupholders are cleverly hidden by wood trim — with an additional one hiding to the left of the steering wheel.
5. Desirable options
The available HUD projects speed and turn-by-turn directions onto the windshield when paired with an optional navigation system. Nav also adds a standard Remote Touch, a mouse-like device for navigating the infotainment system. The Mark Levinson 15-speaker audio experience is one of the best you have heard, with power and clarity akin to being at a concert. An option for your little ones is the rear-seat entertainment system, with dual seven-inch screens for hours of peace and quiet.
