2020 Mitsubishi Mirage G4 review

1. Ready for your commute 

Under the 2020 Mitsubishi Mirage G4’s hood lies a 1.2L three-cylinder engine that ships 78 hp and 74 lb-ft of torque to the front wheels via a standard five-speed manual transmission. Not up for shifting? You can also opt for a CVT. The Mirage G4 is far from a potent sedan, but its focus is being more commuter-friendly than most. Helping out in that area is its EPA-estimated fuel-economy ratings, which you’ll find impressive at 35 mpg city, 41 mpg highway, and 37 mpg combined with the CVT.

2. City-sized family car 

Big sedans and SUVs often struggle in crowded cities because their larger footprints make it challenging to park and flow in and out of traffic. The Mirage G4’s tiny footprint ensures this is no issue for you. Its small package allows the 2020 Mirage G4 to easily flow in and out of traffic and fit into just about any parking space.  

3. Good for four adults 

It’s clear the Mirage G4 is tuned for city driving and tight traffic, thanks to its compact size. However, this small stature often negatively impacts the cabin room. The 2020 Mirage G4 may have a small body, but its cabin is surprisingly spacious and has plenty of space to accommodate four adults. The front seats have 41.7 inches of legroom, which is plenty for people of all sizes. The rear seats are surprisingly spacious, with an adult-friendly 37.3 inches of legroom. Whether you’re taking the kids to their friends’ houses or running your carpool to work, everyone has plenty of room in the 2020 Mirage G4. 

4. Lots of optional equipment 

The 2020 Mirage G4 is an entry-level sedan, so it's understandably basic in its entry-level trim. However, it still offers many of the features you crave. If you love technology, you’ll appreciate its standard seven-inch touchscreen, Bluetooth^® connectivity, four-speaker audio system, and more. However, if that’s not enough for you, the LE and SE trims include a standard 6.5-inch touchscreen with Apple CarPlay^® and Android Auto^™ integration. 5. Available manual transmission 

Very few cars today have a manual transmission — even entry-level cars. The 2020 Mirage G4 is one of the few that bucks this trend and includes a standard five-speed manual gearbox. A manual transmission lets you control the Mirage G4’s shift points and enjoy a more engaging and connected drive. A manual transmission also allows you to tap into the limited output of the 1.2L engine more effectively.
