5 reasons to buy the 2019 Nissan Pathfinder
1. Hands-free trunk access
If you're looking for a midsize SUV, you probably have practicality on your mind, and a feature like the 2019 Nissan Pathfinder's motion-activated liftgate fits neatly into that. From the SL trim onwards, kicking your foot under the rear bumper of the Pathfinder activates the liftgate, opening it for you when you have your arms full of boxes or luggage. And with 79.5 cu-ft of cargo space with all seats folded, loading everything is a breeze.
2. User-friendly infotainment
A great essential for road trips and other adventures is entertainment. As standard, the 2019 Nissan Pathfinder comes with an eight-inch touchscreen, Bluetooth® connectivity, a six-speaker stereo, and satellite radio, with a clear and responsive screen. Other available features include navigation, a stereo upgrade (with 13 speakers), and a Wi-Fi hotspot.
3. Powerful engine
The base engine for the 2019 Nissan Pathfinder is a powerful 3.5L V6 offering 284 hp, enabling a spirited drive and quick acceleration that reaches zero to 60 in 6.4 seconds. This powertrain is available in FWD or AWD and, if you're a thrill-seeker, you will probably want the latter for exciting off-road adventures. It's also pretty composed around sharp corners for such a hefty vehicle, and fuel economy is decent with the AWD version getting an EPA-estimated 22 combined mpg.
4. Comfort for many passengers
The 2019 Nissan Pathfinder has space for seven passengers across three rows of seats. That's a lot of people to keep comfortable, which is why the vehicle boasts a sturdy cabin and plenty of space. There's 137.8 cu-ft of passenger volume, plus 42.2 inches of headroom in the front and the same for the legs. Taller adults might feel a little cramped in the second and third rows, but there's plenty of room for small to average adults and children. The Pathfinder comes with cloth upholstery as standard, and leather is available from the SV trim onwards.
5. Impressive towing capacity
There are lots of situations when the ability to tow heavy is useful. Perhaps you need to hitch up a trailer for a long staycation or a house move, or you're helping someone whose car has broken down. Whatever the reason, knowing your vehicle can cope with additional weight is great, and the 2019 Nissan Pathfinder's base V6 engine enables a towing capacity of an estimated 6,000 lbs when properly equipped.
