More power at the top of the Porsche Cayenne range for 2014
More power for the 2014 Porsche Cayenne, as Porsche adds the Turbo S at the top of the model lineup. It gains the previously optional Power Kit, increasing the turbocharged V8’s output to 550 hp, as well as Porsche’s most advanced active chassis technology. This includes a standard air suspension and an active anti-roll system, which Porsche calls PDCC (Porsche Dynamic Chassis Control), as well as torque vectoring. Combined, it gives the Turbo S quite unbelievable performance and capability.
Elsewhere in the 2014 Cayenne range, Porsche offers V6 and V8 engines, with a Cayenne Hybrid and Diesel model also available. All remain capable all-rounders, with emphasis on road performance. Other changes this year include the option of the Platinum Edition trim, with exterior accents in Platinum Silver Metallic, on either the V6 entry-level Cayenne or the Cayenne Diesel. They also count touchscreen satellite navigation, memory-powered seats, a moonroof, and Bose® audio among their enhanced standard equipment.
