5 reasons to buy the 2015 Subaru Legacy
1. Engine options
You have two engine options in the 2015 Subaru Legacy: a 2.5L four-cylinder and a 3.6L six-cylinder. The base 2.5L horizontally opposed ("boxer") four-cylinder engine sends out 175 hp and 174 lb ft. of torque. The six-cylinder version produces 256 hp and 247 lb-ft of torque. Both engines pair with the continuously variable transmission (CVT) which is standard on all Legacy vehicles.
2. Comfortable cabin
As a driver, you need comfortable seats to have the best driving experience. Subaru recognizes this and prioritizes comfort and convenience for all occupants, especially the driver with the Legacy's supportive front seats. The 2.5i Premium trim has a 10-way power-adjustable driver’s seat to help you find the ideal driving position. It also has heated front seats for cold-weather comfort. The 2.5i and 3.6R Limited trims add leather upholstery, heated rear seats, and a four-way power-adjustable passenger seat. This will be the car everyone wants to use on a road trip.
3. A plethora of driver assistance features
Standard electronic stability control makes this car drive like a dream even on bumpy roads. The 2015 Subaru Legacy has options to look for that include a navigation system, moonroof, proximity key, blind-spot monitoring, and push-button start on various trims or as add-on features. You can also be on the lookout for Subaru’s proprietary camera-based EyeSight system, with collision automatic braking at speeds less than 30 mph, lane departure warning, and adaptive cruise control.
4. Fun driving experience
The Subaru Legacy is a flat-cornering, road-hugging machine that’s a delight to drive. You’ll find yourself looking to take the long way home—the one with windy roads—just so you can let the car perform. The 2015 Legacy drives smoothly but delivers driving feedback you'll love if you want to feel the road.
5. Good tech features
The optional seven-inch touchscreen in Suburu’s Limited trim looks and functions much better than those in older Subarus. The upgraded infotainment system screen responds easily to inputs and lets you pinch and zoom with gesture controls. Large icons make it easy to read. The 2.5i Limited and 3.6R Limited models add a 12-speaker Harman Kardon® audio system.
