Reviews for Ford C-Max energi
Best car decision I've made
I love that this is a plug-in hybrid. When I am city driving, I run it as electric only. Even with just 23-27 miles on a charge, I can run errands or to/from the train station. I literally fill my gas tank once a month or less now. It's room and comfortable on the inside. Has all the bells and whistles I would expect from a 21st century vehicle.
- Cabin Noise: Very quiet to outside noise
- Fuel Economy: Getting approx 60 mpg when braking efficiently, switching between EV and Hybrid mode
- Styling: Great looking vehicle, lots of interior space
- Cargo Space: battery takes up a large chunk of rear storage.
- Ride and Handling: Turning radius is terrible.
Great car, avg 90+ mpg on electric
Great vehicle, especially if you drive less than 10 miles one way to work -- we are averaging 90+ miles per gallon going to work each day on full electrical power. Also, vehicle is very comfortable and fun to drive for a hybrid.

Gas sipping little car
The C-max Energi is a great car for someone that needs head room and leg room in both the front seat and back. As I run around the Houston area I average around 68 MPG. When doing short runs in my neighborhood I use absolutely no gas. Fully on electric power for around 21 miles. Comfort, a quiet ride (I mean really quiet) and just a fun car to run around in. Storage is limited due to the extra battery in the back cargo area but this has not been a substantial problem. The two back seats let down so I do have plenty of room for what I do.
- Cabin Noise: Unbelievably quiet car.
- Fuel Economy: As stated, I get an average of around 68 MPG.
- Interior Space: Lots of room for driver and passengers/front and rear seats.
- Cargo Space: The hatchback storage area is taken up with the extra battery.
