Overall Rating

4.5 out of 5 (47 reviews)

Great car, excellent mpg!

I purchased the 6 speed version for travel 60 miles one way to work. As a long time large truck owner I was reluctant to buy a small car but I needed something better on gas for the commute. It's a nice ride. To my surprise I avg 40 mpg. Stereo is ok seats are ok for maybe up to 2-3 hours of driving and it's actually not a bad looking car for the price. I would buy another one thus far, when the time comes. The cab room is roomy for a sedan and the trunk is large as well.

Pros

  • Fuel Economy: 40 mpg all day long!
  • Interior Space: Kids aren't crammed in the back
  • Cargo Space: Large trunk

Cons

  • Seat Comfort: Good for 2-3 hours of driving then you butt will get numb

Best you can get for the price

I've driven my 2014 Elantra from VA, all the way to MI and back. I've also driven from VA to Georgia 3 times in 2 months and back just fine. As long as you change the oil, it'll get you back and forth with no problems ♥️

Pros

  • Reliability: It's never let me down
  • Visibility: The car is like a fishbowl
  • Fuel Economy: 40mpg

Cons

  • Power: It could be faster, it's only got the 1.8L
  • Cargo Space: It's an economy car, not meant for moving a house, tho you could if you made multiple trips
  • Seat Comfort: Drivers seat is a little stiff

I would recommend this car, first because it is just an extremely nice car. Its so quit when it runs, its very smooth on the road as well. This car is amazing with leather interior and even heated seats in the rear. The rims are awesome. I love this car. Also this is to write a review on Randy Blumenthal. He was GREAT. He was extremely friendly, and helped us in every way possible. He was extremely outgoing and was joking around with us the whole time we were there, and then gave us space when we needed to look around. The best car salesmen of all time. Thank you Mr. Blumenthal you're awesome. Everyone should ask for him when you go to the Louisville Carmax.

Pros

  • Braking:
  • Cabin Noise:
  • Interior Space:
