Reviews for 2015 Hyundai Elantra
Engineering is present where it counts. DOHC with variable valve timing plus 'sport mode' shifting. Premium gasoline plus full synthetic oil changes on the reg give me about 18 more horsepower than Hyundai says i should be getting. My creature comforts include back up camera and Bluetooth audio. Other cars in this class were all about 4 grand more expensive because they were different makes. Hyundai has done very well lately and quality has surpassed anything else they used to do. Also got 4 star safety rating and up in every test.
- Fuel Economy:
Happy with my new car
The gas mileage is wonderful, around the city with stop & go rush hour traffic - 30-33mpg. On the highway - 40mpg. Pretty zippy, comfortable ride and hands free phone & radio. The 1 knock is when going from a stop or very slow and increasing speed going uphill, it is slow to get started. The throttle is touchy at low speeds.
- Fuel Economy: 30mpg city and 40mpg highway, regular fuel
- Ride and Handling: The ride is pretty comfortable, especially for a small car. The ride is better than their competition.
- Weather Versatility: I was very concerned about whether the AC would do well in GA. It sits in full sun all day but when I turn on the AC - it doesn't take it long to cool the car down. AC is very important to me.
- Power: Starting out, especially going up an incline, it is slow. Being a 4cy - it is not as peppy as a 6.
- Cargo Space: Our regular sized coolers will not fit in the trunk so they have to go in the back seat.
Great fuel efficient car
its a great car to save on gas mileage, has a lot of modern features. it is more roomy than i expected and is very intuitive. on the other hand, it has a serious lack of lumbar support and the seats feel small. I also wish the gas light would ding. All things considered, I'm satisfied with my purchase.
- Fuel Economy: Much better than my previous SUV, saving tons of money.
- Reliability: I have owned this car for about 5 months now, and it doesn't show any sign of issues.
- Power: it has a 4 cylinder engine, however it has great pickup when it needs to! Fun drive
- Seat Comfort: TERRIBLE seats. small, but can improve with aftermarket support.
- Interior Space: very low to the ground and a cozy interior. a little to small for trips over 5 hours.
