5 reasons to buy the 2023 Chevrolet Tahoe
1. Three powerful engine options
The 2023 Chevrolet Tahoe has a powerful standard engine to match its rugged good looks: a 5.3L V8 offering 355 hp and 383 lb-ft of torque. There's also a 420-hp 6.2L V8 engine available on RST, Z71, and Premier trims (and standard on the High Country trim). In addition, a diesel option is available on all trims except the Z71. The 3.0L turbocharged diesel engine is good for 277 hp, but it has the torque to match the 6.2L engine option at 460 lb-ft.
2. Semi-automated driving system
The 2023 Chevrolet Tahoe isn't just a utilitarian adventurer; it's also incredibly high-tech. The available Super Cruise™ feature is sophisticated driver-assistance technology that allows you to travel hands-free across more than 200,000 miles of compatible roads in the US and Canada. It uses GPS with real-time corrections alongside the lane-sensing camera to help the vehicle steer and keep its lane position while you let go of the wheel and just focus on the road ahead.
3. Lots of space
This three-row SUV can seat up to nine passengers in style, and even the third row is comfortable for long journeys. If you need to prioritize cargo over passengers, you can fold the third row down to open up the space from 25.5 cu-ft to 72.6 cu-ft. And if you need to haul furniture, boxes from a house move, or mountain bikes for your next trip, fold both the second and third rows for the maximum cargo volume of 122.9 cu-ft. If you need to seat a full complement of passengers inside the 2023 Chevrolet Tahoe, you'll still be able to tow up to an estimated 8,400 lbs with the 5.3L engine and the Max Trailering Package, when properly equipped.
4. Go-anywhere practicality
All models of the 2023 Chevrolet Tahoe are available as either front-wheel drive or four-wheel drive (except the Z71, which is four-wheel drive only). This means you can take the road less traveled on your next family vacation or camping trip with friends. For maximum adventure, look for the Z71 trim, which has a heavy-duty air filter, a two-speed transfer case for maximum control on tricky terrain, and a front skid plate.
5. Plenty of trims and package options
Adding to its tech credentials, the 2023 Chevrolet Tahoe comes standard with wireless Apple CarPlay® and Android Auto™ connectivity, an eight-inch touchscreen, and USB ports in the front and middle rows. Base models have other helpful features like cruise control, 120-volt power outlets, and a six-speaker sound system. Climb the trims and you'll find a power sliding console with secure storage, a panoramic sunroof, and a rear-seat media system (all available on the LT trim and up).
