The Chrysler Pacifica is a versatile minivan with available all-wheel drive
The 2024 Chrysler Pacifica is a highly versatile minivan that excels at cargo-toting duty thanks to its handy Stow 'n Go® seating. This feature allows a Pacifica owner to quickly tuck the middle-row seats into wells in the floor. In only seconds the Pacifica’s seat-hiding magic act provides a whopping 140.5 cubic feet of storage space. This generation of Pacifica dates to the 2017 model year and the 2024 version has no notable updates.
Serving as the standard engine is a 287-horsepower 3.6-liter V6 that sends power to the front wheels via a nine-speed automatic. All-wheel drive is optional, as is a plug-in hybrid powertrain that provides 32 miles of electric-only range before the gas engine kicks into action. Keep in mind, due to packaging limitations, the fuel-sipping hybrid loses those nifty Stow 'n Go seats. Competitors to the Pacifica include the Honda Odyssey, Toyota Sienna, and Kia Carnival.

What We Like
Stow 'n Go: The Pacifica allows a minivan owner to tote themselves and plenty of passengers, or rapidly stow those second- and third-row seats for maximum cargo-hauling needs. This is a standout feature that could land more than a few minivan shoppers behind the wheel of the Pacifica.
Uconnect® infotainment system: Easy to use and quick to respond to inputs, the Uconnect interface is one of the leading systems around. An expansive 10.1-inch touchscreen and wireless smartphone connectivity are included even in the entry-level Pacifica.
Posh Pinnacle model: As the name suggests, the Pinnacle sits at the very peak of the Pacifica lineup. This opulent minivan includes quilted leather seating upholstery, second-row lumbar pillows, a rear-seat entertainment system, surround-view parking camera, and 19-speaker Harman Kardon stereo.
What Needs Improvement
Overdue for a redesign: There is no getting around the fact the Pacifica is starting to look and feel its age compared to newer rivals. This is most evident in terms of the driving dynamics. The Chrysler’s ride and handling lack the poise and agility found in competing models that have benefited from recent reboots.
