1. Powerful engine lineup 

The 2022 Charger's range of engine options is impressive, from the competent V6 to the Hellcat Redeye's monstrous 797-hp supercharged V8. The Charger delivers power and performance that few other sedans can match. The HEMI^® V8 on the SRT has 485 horsepower and can race from zero to 60 mph in around four seconds, so you don’t even need to jump to the top-end Hellcat to get some serious performance credentials. 

2. Distinctive style 

With its muscle car aesthetics and various trim levels to help you find the level of head-turning style that suits you, the Charger is incredibly versatile. Look out for the Jailbreak package (SRT Hellcat Redeye Widebody only) to take this further, offering unique visual options including red leather, a range of different wheel styles, and even some graphic stripe options. Even if you want something a bit more reserved, there’s bound to be a Charger out there that fits your lifestyle. 

3. User-friendly tech 

The Charger's Uconnect^® system stands out for its ease of use and responsiveness. The large touchscreen interface, along with standard Apple CarPlay^® and Android Auto^™ integration, offers a seamless tech experience. This means it’s easy to play your music or tune into your favorite podcast during those times when you’re not simply enjoying the sound of the Charger’s engine. On top of this, you also get a range of driver assist features as standard including a rearview camera, parking sensors, and more. Available driver assists include adaptive cruise control, lane departure warning, and blind spot monitoring. 

4. Agile handling 

Despite its size, the Charger offers impressive handling, especially in the higher-performance trims. Look out for the available on-demand AWD, which takes the Charger seamlessly from rear-wheel-drive mode under normal conditions to offer all-wheel grip when you need more traction. Look out for the SRT Hellcat Widebody for adaptive suspension and different drive modes to tailor each drive — choose Street for a compliant, yet sporty ride; Sport for maximum handling; or Track for the ultimate in firm cornering with performance shifting. 

5. Spacious interior 

This is a daily driver and it comes with all the practicalities you’d expect, including plenty of space. You’ll get 41.8 inches of front legroom, which is enough even for tall drivers and front-seat passengers. The backseat isn’t quite as roomy but you’ll still get 40.1 inches of legroom. In the trunk, you get a respectable 16.5 cu-ft, which is enough for groceries, bags for a weekend away, or even a thrift-store haul.
