2015 Ford Fiesta review

1. Welcoming cabin 

Resembling a much higher-level, luxury car, the cabin of the 2015 Ford Fiesta is among the best you can see in a subcompact economy vehicle. For one thing, it comes with fine materials for most of the surfaces, including soft-touch plastics and metallic accents. It’s generally well built, with nice finishes, and the nicely designed dashboard along with the practical center stack gives that sense of refinement and luxury. 

2. Good cargo capacity 

If you appreciate practicality and convenience, you'll appreciate the Fiesta's cargo space. The hatchback model comes with more room compared to the sedan, but they’re both functional. The hatchback comes with 14.9 cu-ft of space in the trunk, expanding to 25.4 cu-ft with the back seat folded. The sedan, for its part, offers 12.8 cu-ft of trunk space, which is enough to carry one large suitcase and a smaller one, so it's still good for a weekend trip. 

3. Standard features 

Not only is the cabin of the 2015 Ford Fiesta well executed, but it’s also equipped with the necessary features to enhance the ride experience further. It comes standard with a few amenities making for greater comfort, as well as some tech features for increased connectivity. Ford’s Sync® system with voice controls is one of them. Bluetooth® connectivity and a USB port are also standard, as is a six-speaker audio system. On top of that, you get a tilt-and-telescoping steering wheel and a height-adjustable driver’s seat. 

4. Smooth engine 

In terms of performance, the 2015 Ford Fiesta is offered with a choice of powertrain options that result in sharp handling and a smooth, quiet ride. The base engine is a 1.6L, four-cylinder combined with a standard five-speed manual transmission, for an output of 120 hp and 112 lb-ft of torque. The Fiesta’s great driving dynamics are also a result of its compact size and athletic profile, along with a well-tuned suspension. 

5. Decent gas mileage 

If fuel consumption is on your list of priorities, there is a good chance the 2015 Ford Fiesta will meet your expectations. It returns great mileage thanks to an optimized engine, among other things. The Fiesta gets an EPA-estimated 31 mpg combined from the 1.6L, four-cylinder engine, making it a suitable choice for city driving.
