The 2023 Jaguar F-Type is a sexy two-door, available as a coupe or convertible
Perhaps one of the most attractive sports cars on the market, the Jaguar F-Type turns heads in coupe or convertible guise. Introduced in 2014, the F-Type received a substantial refresh in 2021 with updated styling, an upgraded interior, and an improved infotainment system. As Jaguar has moved toward a lineup heavy with SUVs, the F-Type is the only sports car offered by the legendary British marque, and it delivers performance befitting its sleek styling. For the 2023 model year, the F-Type remains primarily unchanged, with just a few minor changes to feature availability. Jaguar offers the F-Type in three trim levels: P450, P450 R-Dynamic, and R, each available as a coupe or convertible. All variants get a 5.0-liter supercharged V8 engine, but output bumps up to 575 horsepower in the R from 444 hp in the other two trims. All-wheel drive is standard on the R-Dynamic and R, with rear-wheel drive for the P450.

What We Like
Performance: The F-Type looks fast and sporty, and it has the power to back up those eye-catching looks. With either motor, the F-Type is quick off the line, and the R, with its all-wheel drive, can sprint to 60 mph in just 3.6 seconds. With good steering and strong brakes, the F-Type performs well as a grand tourer.
Interior: With the latest update, Jaguar created a driver-focused cockpit that puts controls and functions within easy reach of the driver. The sport seats are stylish with soft leather, attractive stitching, and strong bolsters that provide good support and comfort, especially during enthusiastic driving. The cabin is a bit small, especially in the coupe, but it doesn’t feel cramped.
Technology: All Jaguar F-Types come standard with an integrated 10-inch display running the company’s in-house infotainment system. The system has a quick reaction time with controls that are easy to use. Android Auto™ and Apple CarPlay® are standard. The F-Type is also fitted with the latest advanced driver-assist systems, including lane keeping assistance and blind-spot warning.
What Needs Improvement
Storage: As a two-door sports car, the Jaguar F-Type is not known for its cargo-carrying ability. The coupe features a rear hatchback that opens to reveal a small, shallow cargo space that can handle up to 14.4 cubic feet. The F-Type convertible, however, gets just 7.3 cubic feet of trunk space. The center console storage is small, as are the pockets in the doors, and there’s no good place to secure a phone.
