Space for cargo when traveling is excellent. The car is comfotable for travel.

Subaru has a excellent track record for reliability.
CONS
Fuel Economy
We are used to vehicles that average 40+ mpg. While the Outback does not, and we knew that when buying the car, it does a respectful 31* mpg.
Cost to Maintain
While the cost to maintain is more than expected for regular maintenance, etc. the length of time between regular maintenance scheduled appointments will balance out the annual cost.
