1. Choice of two engine options

The 2015 Chevrolet Equinox has a choice of two gasoline engines. Front-wheel-drive models have a 182-hp 2.4L four-cylinder engine, while all-wheel drive (AWD) versions have a 3.6L V6 engine with 301 hp. The front-wheel drive Equinox is the one to choose if fuel economy is a priority, achieving an EPA-estimated 31 mpg on the highway.

The 272 lb-ft of torque from the available V6 is better suited to more demanding situations and is able to tow up to an estimated 3,500 lbs when properly equipped.
