Start your search with the base turbocharged 2.7L four-cylinder engine and you'll find a surprisingly robust 310 horsepower and 430 lb-ft of torque. If you need a V8 in your driveway, check out the optional 5.3L V8 (355 hp, 383 lb-ft of torque) or the optional 6.2L V8 (420 hp, 460 lb-ft of torque) that both come with a ten-speed automatic transmission. If you want a great mix of power and fuel efficiency, take a look at the 3.0L turbodiesel (305 hp, 495 lb-ft of torque) that gets an EPA-estimated 26 mpg combined city/highway.

Check out our lots for the ZR2 trim and you'll find an off-road-ready truck that loves to get muddy. It is available with the largest V8 (6.2L) or the turbodiesel (3.0L) and has an extensive list of off-road upgrades. Your 2024 Silverado 1500 will be ready to tackle your weekend challenge, whether it be hauling a boat, RV, or other type of trailer. Even the base 2.7L engine can tow up to an estimated 9,500 pounds when properly equipped.
