The 2021 Dodge Durango has a spacious and refined interior with room for up to seven in three rows of seating. That makes it a great choice if you must haul many passengers and make them feel as comfortable as possible. The first- and second-row seats are perfectly roomy and supportive for adults, and the third-row seats have enough headroom and legroom for larger kids to sit comfortably even on long trips out of town, measuring 37.8 inches and 33.5 inches, respectively.
If horsepower and torque are among your priorities, the 2021 Dodge Durango won't disappoint you. The base engine is a 3.6L V6 with 295 hp and 260 lb-ft of torque. It's paired with an eight-speed automatic transmission. The 2021 Dodge Durango is also offered with a 5.7L HEMI®, generating 360 hp and 390 lb-ft of torque, a 6.4L HEMI V8 that puts out 475 hp and 475 lb-ft of torque, and the highly potent 6.2L supercharged V8 that produces 710 hp and 645 lb-ft and can only be found on the SRT Hellcat trim configuration.
With so much power under the hood, it's no wonder that the 2021 Dodge Durango has some serious towing capacity too. When powered by the base 3.6L V6 engine, it can tow an estimated 6,200 lbs, when properly equipped.
Considering its size, it's only natural to expect a lot of room for cargo in the 2021 Dodge Durango. And you wouldn't be wrong if you did. It comes with 17.2 cu-ft of space behind the third row, which increases to 43.3 cu-ft when those seats are folded down. The maximum cargo space measures 85.1 cu-ft with both the second- and the third-row seats folded down. Throughout the cabin, there are plenty of cup holders and other compartments for small-item storage as well.
As far as tech features are concerned, the 2021 Dodge Durango has plenty of them, with many as part of the standard equipment. For instance, it comes with an infotainment system using the Uconnect 4C interface with an 8.4-inch touchscreen and smartphone integration. Voice recognition and Bluetooth® connectivity are also standard, as is a six-speaker audio system and a total of four USB ports.
