The 2019 Nissan Rogue shows its age when compared to rivals from Honda, Toyota, Kia, Hyundai, Ford, and GM among others. It has always appealed to a rather pragmatic audience—those who appreciate the sizable trunk, and, until 2018, the ability to option the Rogue with seating for seven. While the Rogue soldiers on as a five-seat compact SUV, it does so with the same limited choice of engines and a continuously variable automatic transmission that detracts from the driving experience.
Power, such as it is at 170 hp, comes from a 2.5-liter four-cylinder, or a 2.0-liter four-cylinder with a hybrid motor delivering a combined 176 hp. The hybrid nets a scant 5 mpg advantage over the regular Rogue, according to the EPA rating. Neither is particularly inspiring to drive, though they take it easy and the suspension offers good ride comfort. The very supportive front seats help, too. But the interior, once one of the best among compact SUVs, can feel dated against competitors.

A 2019 Nissan Rogue takes the utility in SUV seriously. It's also packed with various standard or available features that make everyday life easier. Smartphone connectivity, like Android Auto™, comes standard alongside split-folding rear seats and a hidden cargo compartment in the rear. The 2019 Nissan Rogue SV also adds a kick-activated rear tailgate and remote engine start (via the key fob) that automatically runs the climate control so you can get comfortable as soon as you climb aboard.
Look out for the Premium or Platinum Reserve Interior Packages to get a taste of luxury in your 2019 Nissan Rogue SL. Immerse yourself in the sound from an impressive nine-speaker Bose® sound system while your passengers stare at the stars through a power panoramic sunroof. The Platinum Reserve Interior Package adds leather seating that features quilted leather inserts, giving you and your passengers first-class treatment.
Advanced driver assists aren't restricted to high-end trims of the 2019 Nissan Rogue. The base-model Nissan Rogue S includes blind-spot warning, lane-keep assist, and automatic emergency braking right out of the box. Upgrade to the 2019 Nissan Rogue SL and unlock ProPILOT™ assist, which maintains a distance from the vehicle ahead and keeps the Nissan Rogue centered in the lane. The ProPILOT assist will even bring the 2019 Nissan Rogue SL to a complete stop and resume driving again when traffic does.
From the cargo area to the passenger cabin, a 2019 Nissan Rogue has plenty of room to tackle daily life. In the rear, a split-folding second-row bench makes carrying longer cargo a breeze. The big 39.3 cu-ft of cargo space is more than enough for anything your passengers might bring along. Rear passengers can also get comfortable with plenty of room in the back, easing the strain on long drives. An in-floor storage space in the trunk is great for stashing items you don't want to roll around.
Stand out from the crowd with a palette of nine colors and shades to wrap your 2019 Nissan Rogue in. Pearl White TriCoat gives the Nissan Rogue a luxurious look, sparkling in the sunlight. Scarlet Ember Tintcoat and Caspian Blue Metallic are deep colors available on standard models. Finally, show off your true personality in the eye-catching Monarch Orange Metallic: bright, bold, beautiful, and sure to make the 2019 Nissan Rogue stand out in the crowd.
