Reviews for 2017 Toyota Highlander

Overall Rating

4.8 out of 5 (8 reviews)

Highlander SE

The highlander I traded in had 356000 miles and no rust. I am expecting the same experience with this new purchase.

Pros

  • Fuel Economy: I’m averaging 28 to 30 mpg driving 400 miles per week to work and back with this V6 3.5L
  • Ride and Handling: Smooth ride with a sharp turn radius
  • Cost to Maintain: with the last highlander; never changed fuel pump, never changed water pump, never changed alternator. Never changed the things that usually break on most vehicles within 150000 miles

Cons

  • Weather Versatility: All wheel drive plus 4 wheel drive lock at low speed
  • Cabin Noise: Some road noise, but I had it under coated which lowered the noise a little
  • Dashboard: When you start the vehicle, it defaults to eco mode, which seams to reduce power. you have to go into the computer menu and select full power to get it out of eco mode.

- Ronald Hults, 2017 Toyota Highlander
