Get to know the vast Yukon
Sometimes you want to impress. The 2024 GMC Yukon makes a statement that it is no ordinary full-size SUV. With a range of torque-rich engine options, you might be mistaken into thinking the Yukon is just a pickup with a larger seven-passenger cabin. That’s not the case, as the Yukon drives more like a smooth sedan than a truck, with commendable passenger comfort. The list of available modern tech features is lengthy, ranging from charging and connectivity to smart cameras and nav to driver assistance and even towing technology. The GMC Yukon is the smart, stylish, and comfortable way to move a large group on the go.

5 reasons to buy the 2024 GMC Yukon
1. Great interior comfort
Your family and friends will rave about the ride comfort of the 2024 GMC Yukon. The interior is hushed from road, wind, and even engine noise. The soft suspension absorbs bumps and cracks in the road, providing a smooth ride that puts little ones to sleep. The Yukon's seats are wide and comfortable, and the rear doors have surprisingly easy access to the third row. Whether hauling coworkers to lunch or just taking friends for a night out, the GMC Yukon’s driving manners will impress everyone.
2. Powerful engines
The GMC Yukon weighs 6,000 lbs, but all of its engine options move it with authority. The base engine is a 5.3L V8 with 355 horsepower. An optional engine (standard on Denali) is the 6.2L V8 with 420 hp that rockets zero to 60 in 6 seconds flat, when new. If you are looking to tow, check out the optional 3.0L turbodiesel with a maximum estimated towing capacity of 8,200 lbs when properly equipped.
3. AT4 off-road trim
If weekend adventures are your thing, or maybe you just live down a long dirt road, the AT4 trim should be your starting point. The AT4 is off-road ready thanks to standard 4WD and a two-speed transfer case, unique 20-inch machined alloy wheels, and more. You’ll also notice the standard protective skidplates, hill descent control, magnetic ride control, and red tow hooks that are functionally the same as the base ones but look sweet in red. The additional features make the AT4 the tough off-roader of the Yukon lineup.
4. Big cargo
With great cargo there must also come great responsibility, to paraphrase there. Feel like a superhero with the Yukon’s massive cargo potential. If you’re filling all seven seats, the rear cargo area has 25.5 cu-ft for all their gear, equivalent to a standard French door refrigerator. When you need to haul only cargo, the rear seats fold flat for a level cargo floor. With 122.9 cu-ft of cargo space, you can haul big furniture from the antique store or fit several 4x8 sheets of plywood from the lumber yard.
5. Denali Ultimate niceties
Sometimes you just want to treat yourself. That time can be every day, with the Yukon Denali Ultimate trim. This luxury SUV features standard air suspension, 22-inch bright alloy wheels, power retractable entry steps with LED lighting, and a panoramic power sunroof. Inside, notice the hand-stitched leather, Bose® Performance Series 18-speaker sound system, rear seat entertainment system, and a trick rearview mirror that is actually a rearview camera that has its own washing system. The Denali Ultimate is a great way to pamper yourself and your passengers.
