5 reasons to buy the 2023 Subaru Forester

1. All-wheel drive as standard

The 2023 Subaru Forester comes standard with all-wheel drive, ensuring optimal traction in various driving conditions. Whether you're navigating wet roads or tackling snowy terrain, the Forester's AWD system provides confidence and stability. This additional grip is also useful when navigating winding country roads on your next trip away.

2. Practical off-roader

Thanks to its impressive ground clearance of 8.7 inches, the 2023 Subaru Forester is more than capable of handling off-road adventures. Whether it's a rugged trail or a camping trip, the Forester is designed to take you places other SUVs might struggle to reach. Look out for the available X-Mode if you're an off-road enthusiast, as it tailors the Forester's engine and traction control to better suit dirt. If you need extra ground clearance, the Wilderness trim bumps it up to 9.2 inches, giving you even more options when it comes to heading off the beaten path.

3. Generous cargo space

The Subaru Forester offers a spacious cargo area, making it perfect for family trips, outdoor activities, or simply running errands. In the trunk, you get 26.9 cu-ft but that opens up to 69.1 cu-ft with the rear seats folded. The shape of the Forester means it's particularly suited to carrying large items, too. If you need to pull a trailer for moving day, however, the standard Forester can tow up to an estimated 1,500 lbs with its 2.5L engine when properly equipped.

The Wilderness trim doubles that with an estimated towing capacity of 3,000 lbs with the 2.5L engine when properly equipped.

4. Suite of driver-assist features

The Forester is equipped with Subaru's EyeSight® suite of advanced driver-assist features that enhance the driving experience. Adaptive cruise control is great for long road trips and city driving, while lane departure warning and lane keeping assist support you on highway drives. For added peace of mind, you also get forward collision mitigation as standard too.

5. Practical cabin

Beyond its rugged capabilities, the Subaru Forester boasts a practical and well-designed cabin. You'll enjoy the comfortable seating and easy-to-reach controls, alongside standard Apple CarPlay® and Android Auto integration. If you live in a colder climate and are after more creature comforts, look for the All-Weather package that adds heated front seats, a heated steering wheel, and a windshield wiper de-icer.
