The 2013 Chevrolet Corvette offers a strong value proposition. You get a boisterous 6.2-liter V8 that produces 430 horsepower at a price that rivals like the Porsche 911 and BMW M4 can't match. What's the catch? You give up some refinement by opting for the C6 Corvette compared to newer models. The 2013 Corvette is a little dated compared to other 2013 models, but it comes with a bevy of trims and sub trims; all of which offer a V8 and gobs of horsepower. The interior may not offer the same attention to detail as its European counterparts, the Corvette certainly keeps up pace as a performance vehicle. If you're willing to accept the basic looking interior, you'll get on-track performance that matches much more expensive vehicles for a great price.

Performance: You get a ton of power from the base Stingray all the way up to the ZR1 trim. The Z06 and ZR1 come only with a six-speed manual transmission and produce an eye-watering 505 and 638-hp, respectively. If the six-speed automatic is more your speed, you still have access to plenty of power.
Driving: You will be more than capable of impressing your friends with quick time slips at drag strips in any Corvette you step into. The ZR1 approaches an astonishing 130 mph at the quarter mile. That performance doesn't make the car a chore to drive around town; it's plenty comfortable as a daily driver.
Value: This is the secret to the Corvette's success: It offers so much power and fun for so much less than its competitors, especially in its base trim. This can become a dicey proposition when you scale up the trim levels, but it's hard to beat the performance-per-dollar of the Corvette.
Interior Quality: The interior of the Corvette feels dated, even by 2013 standards, and this is especially true on more expensive trims. While Chevy's sports car can go toe to toe with Porsche and BMW on the track, it falls on its face once you peek into competitors' cockpits.
