The 2022 Chevrolet Corvette remains at the top of the luxury sport coupe heap following its revolutionary redesign in 2020. A handful of tech improvements for the 2022 model year helped cement its place ahead of the competition while keeping the package fresh. Make no mistake, the Corvette remains ludicrously quick and a joy on track days. It can also handle a jaunt down highways and trips to the grocery store without making a fuss. If you loved the look and feel of the eighth-generation Corvette when it debuted, there's even more reason to love the C8 now as it keeps up with German rivals like the Porsche 911 and BMW 8 Series on track while still beating them on cost.

Performance: The Corvette absolutely shines where it matters most: Performance. It stands out in a class filled with stand out performers. When properly equipped, the Corvette can make quarter mile passes quicker than 12 seconds (a Honda Civic Si will take nearly 16 seconds) and its stopping prowess is no slouch. This is a driver's car through and through.
Comfort: Opting for the standard or GT2 bucket seats results in surprising comfort, especially for a low-slung sports car. The GT2 seats in particular are well padded for long-haul driving and hold you in place during high-speed cornering. The climate system also provides solid airflow thanks to well-placed vents. Heated and ventilated seats are available.
Infotainment tech: Chevrolet graced the Corvette with its latest infotainment system. Its crisp, modern graphics along with its proximity to the driver make it easy to operate. Wireless Apple CarPlay® and Android Auto™ come standard.
Driver aids: The 2022 Corvette is a technological marvel, except for the lack of advanced driver assist systems like automatic emergency braking and adaptive cruise control. Considering features like these are standard equipment on economy cars these days, it’s a glaring oversight for the Corvette.
