2020 Porsche 911 is fully redesigned
Porsche redesigned the 911 for 2020, though it's more evolution than revolution on the German automaker's flagship car. The sports car has a new-look interior and some revisions to the exterior, but if you loved last year's 911, you're likely to dig the 2020 Porsche 911, too. The driving experience is phenomenal, with slightly more horsepower than in 2019.
A new infotainment system is one of the 911's newest features and biggest flaws. Apple CarPlay® comes standard, but Android Auto™ does not, and the touchscreen is just out of reach if you have your seat in a comfortable position.
That doesn't take too much shine off the 911, which is a joy to drive on open roads or around town. Its sporty suspension doesn't create a rough ride and while the engine noise isn't quite as exhilarating as in years past, it's still got the power enthusiasts are looking for.

What We Like
Performance: The base motor, a turbocharged flat-six cylinder engine, generates more than 300 horsepower and can take the 911 from 0-60 mph in a little more than 3 seconds. Perhaps most impressive is how smoothly that power is applied and how comfortably the 911 hugs corners at speed.
Interior: The redesigned interior is refined and modern, featuring the impressive build quality we've come to expect from the German automaker. It's also suitably roomy for larger passengers despite retaining its sports-car-snugness.
Comfort: Both seats are comfortable enough to sit in for a long drive and feature a wide range of customizability. The 911 softens bumps in the road reasonably well, and side padding makes hugging curves a pleasant experience.
What Needs Improvement
Tech: The new touchscreen on the 911 is just a little too small and a bit out of reach. Throw in the sporty suspension and you'll find yourself struggling to press small buttons while the sports car alerts you to every bump in the road. The lack of Android Auto™ support is also disappointing.
