5 reasons to buy the 2024 Porsche 911
1. New-for-2024 S/T model
There’s a brand new model of the Porsche 911 for 2024. The S/T combines some of the best parts of other models to create something new and exciting. It pulls together the manual transmission and style of the GT3 Touring, with the 518-hp 4.0L engine of the GT3 RS, and is the lightest car in the lineup thanks to its carbon-fiber body. If you prioritize performance and looks, this new trim is the top choice.
2. Premium interior
The interior of the 2024 Porsche 911 is as swanky as ever. It’s swish and modern, with a big screen and minimal buttons, making the cabin look more sleek. The bolstered seats ensure you don’t get flung about when pushing through tight corners, and while the rear seats are small, they act as great storage in a vehicle with only 4.6 cu-ft of cargo space.
3. Practical for daily driving
This is a car that shouldn’t be kept for best. In fact, the 2024 Porsche 911 is a fantastic daily driver. Not only is it comfortable, but there's a range of available features to make it even more practical for daily use. These include supportive seats (or sports seats if you're lucky enough to find an upgraded model), universal garage door opener, proximity keyless entry, and many other elements that make life easier. Keep an eye out for added packages, as even the standard Carrera had many available when new.
4. Features
The 2024 Porsche 911 really ramps up the tech features. The standard 10.9-inch touchscreen includes wireless Apple CarPlay® and Android Auto™ connectivity. There’s also an available Wi-Fi hotspot, navigation, and voice recognition, which all come standard, appealing to tech-savvy modern drivers.
5. Available driver aids
The 2024 Porsche 911 doesn’t come with a lot of standard driver aids, but keep your eyes peeled for models that have some of the available options. The base list includes a rearview camera, forward collision warning, forward automatic emergency braking, and parking sensors at the front and back. But the available roster includes lane departure warning, traffic sign recognition, adaptive cruise control, night-vision assist, park assist, highway driving assist – and more.
